Use of our website and the sale and purchase of goods from the website are governed by our terms and conditions as set out below. “We” or “Our” means thesofathrowcompany.com. “You” or “your” means the person accessing, using or ordering from our website over the Internet.
1. Delivery arrangements
Your shopping basket displays the goods you have purchased with an indication of the delivery timescale. We will notify you if your goods are not able to be despatched within this timescale, e.g. some ‘made to order’ goods may take longer. The costs for delivery are shown depending on the shipping destination and the delivery service selected. Any delivery times quoted are estimates, based on availability and normal delivery time. Please note that there may be some products that we do not ship to certain destinations, which will be indicated in the shopping basket.
Please give any special delivery instructions on your order form if applicable. Please note that instructions for goods to be left in any place where no one is available to sign for the delivery are entirely at the customer's own risk. We cannot accept any responsibility for any theft, damage or loss that may subsequently occur.
If your order has not been delivered within 10 days of submission, please contact us immediately so that we can trace and track the goods with the delivery service accordingly. Please note that delivery service administration restrictions means that we will not be able to assist or take responisibility for tracing and tracking orders/items reported undelivered after 10 days
2. Cooling off period and cancellation / returns
We want you to be satisfied every time you shop with us. Our "no quibbles" guarantee means that if for any reason you are unhappy with the goods purchased you may cancel your order and return the goods to the Merchant within 7 working days* from receipt of the goods, you will receive a refund within 30 days of cancellation. * It is your responsibility to take care of the goods and they must be returned to us unused and in original packaging. (*XMAS RETURN EXTENSION: Goods purchased between 1 December-24 December 2011 can be returned anytime up until 15 Jaunuary 2012 to accommodate the xmas period).
* We will not accept the return of used goods, damaged goods or goods out of original packaging
* Fresh / disposable / perishable goods (e.g. flowers or fresh foods)
* Sealed audio / video recordings or computer software which have been opened
* Goods made to the customer's personal specifications
3. Please note, whilst every effort is made to accurately reproduce the appearance of each throw and all other products we stock - we cannot accept any responsibility for any colour discrepancies. Different colour display settings on computer monitors can have an effect on the appearance of colours in our product images. You can still return your throw or any other items for a refund, however you will be responsible for the postage costs.
Please enclose a note with your return confirming your name, address and order number. Returns/exchange address: The Sofa Throw Co t/a Original Artworks Ltd, 122 Wandle Road, Morden, Surrey SM4 6AE.
Postage costs are the direct charge from the postal or courier service and as such are non-refundable. You are responsible for all postage/courier costs incurred for both sending and returning goods. We recommend that you use Recorded Delivery as proof of shipping is not proof of receipt.

8. Offensive or age restricted material
We take the utmost care to ensure that no material likely to give offence or which is unsuitable for children is displayed on our website. There are, however, certain products that we sell which are unsuitable for children (e.g. Certificate 18 or 15 videos / DVD's). By placing an order for products with age restrictions you declare that you are of legal age to purchase those products.
